This recipe is about $1.37 per serving. Please note that these numbers depend on season and store. I got all my ingredients at Walmart with the grocery pickup and made this meal in January. Also, I only calculated the price based on the items I used, not on the bulk I bought. You can use the leftovers for other recipes.
You don’t have to use a vegetable stock powder but it gives any recipe (especially vegan recipes) more flavor. I like to use powder as it has a longer shelf life than the liquid version and you can also sprinkle it on a salad or use it as seasoning for many recipes.
