How to prepare the Greek Pita Recipe

Brown the ground meat in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Chop all the vegetables.

Mix the yogurt with the pressed garlic, 1/2 t dill weed, 1/2 t salt and pepper (you can increase the amount to season the sauce). Layer your pita like in the picture: Flat bread, meat, veggies, and yogurt sauce.


Divide all ingredients into 4 servings. ENJOY!

Divide all ingredients into 4 servings and 1 serving equals 1 green, 1 red, 1 yellow container or 350 calories per serving.

  • 4 whole wheat flat bread
  • 1 lbs. ground turkey
  • 1 cup greek yogurt (fat free or reduced)
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt, pepper, dill
