Green Sweet Potato Smoothie (oil free, vegan, gluten free)

Green sweet potato smoothie that is oil free, vegan, gluten free, high in fiber, minerals, vitamins, and contains about 300 calories.

This green smoothie contains cinnamon which blends perfectly with the sweet potato banana mix and makes a delicious fall and winter smoothie. It is all vegan and I used almond milk to blend. You can also add some turmeric with black pepper to boost anti-inflammatory properties. Enjoy this vegan smoothie as a snack or after a workout.

Sweet Potato Green Smoothie (oil free, vegan, gluten free)

  • 1/2 sweet potato (medium), cubed
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup beans (any), drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 t cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 T chia seeds
  1. Add everything into a blender and mix. You can use the raw sweet potato with skin.
  • Total time: 10 minutes
