This burrito plate recipe is easy, fast, healthy and very affordable. You can prepare this recipe vegetarian or add chicken. For the chicken version I spend around $2.20 per plate. For my toddler I mixed some rice with corn and beans and topped it with the avocado dressing. He really enjoyed it. The frugal burrito plate recipe is a great family dinner idea, easy to prepare and healthy. I spend around 30 minutes to prepare everything.

2 chicken breast ($2.60)
1 lime ($0.29)
1 1/2 cup whit rice ($0.50)
salt, canola oil, cumin, garlic powder ($0.30)
1 can corn ($0.49)
1 can black beans ($0.59)
1/2 lettuce ($0.75)
2 avocados ($1.98)
4 T sour cream ($0.60)
2 tomatoes ($0.79)
The price of each item can vary by store and season. With the prices above you spend only $2.20 per plate. It doesn’t look like it, but this meal really fills you up!
Prepare the Frugal Burrito Plate Recipe
Instead of topping the plate with diced avocado I mixed them with sour cream, water, salt, cumin, lime juice and garlic powder in my Nutri Ninja to make the healthy dressing.
